Keep theLights On

Three small games about running a power grid — built to test whether the mechanics are any fun, not to ship. Each one runs in the browser with no install, no accounts, and nothing collected.

I

Valley Grid

Keep the lights on · 7 days

You run the grid for a growing valley. Demand climbs 8% every day, the evening peak arrives whether you're ready or not, and the hydro reservoir only refills when it rains. Budget water for the peak, commit nuclear early, and buy plants before growth outruns you — or explain the blackout on the report card.

Energy Stand

Backyard watts to valley-wide power

Lemonade Stand, but for electricity. Read tomorrow's forecast, make three to five calls, then watch the day play out and answer for it on the results card. Starts at a homestead with 4 kW of solar and one freezer worth protecting; ends dispatching a gas plant for 1,400 homes.

The Storm

Flood routing against an uncertain forecast

Three reservoirs sit at three different distances above one town. Release from all of them at once and the peaks arrive stacked — it's wave interference, with water. The forecast comes as a widening cone, so you are committing water days before you know where the storm lands.

Or watch the same storm played two ways

The replays play themselves — press Play and watch the three streams converge on the town. Good as an opener while you set up the premise.
